What to expect

What to Expect

Sunday is all about celebrating who God is and encouraging one another before beginning a new week. We'd love to have you join us, but we know that visiting a new church can often be intimidating, especially during these weird times.  At University Heights, you can expect a welcoming community of people who love God, believe the Bible, and want you to know Christ. From preaching to singing, we do everything to exalt Christ.  We offer both a LIVE-online & In-person service.

When Should I Attend?

If you've never been to our church before, we recommend you start with one of the worship times listed above. Our 9:15 am worship is led by a choir and musicians with hymns and gospel songs. Our 10:45 am worship is lead by a band with a mixture of modern songs and hymns. Both services feature the same sermon by Dr. Richard Rogers.

If you have children, a description of exactly what is available for them can be found in the "Preschool, Kids or Students" pages found in the toolbar above.

How do I get there and where do I go?

Our campus is located just a short drive from the campus of Sam Houston State University right in the middle of Huntsville. We've included a map embedded below. If you need help, just give us a call at 936-295-2996.

While you can access the Worship Center from any parking lot, we suggest that first time guests park in the main lot off Sycamore Avenue and enter under one of the covered glass doors. Then, make your way to one of the Welcome Centers in either the Preschool and Children's Building or the Worship Center. Not sure where those are? Check out the map below and look for the yellow arrows.

Be a part of our story...

Join us every Sunday as we gather to worship together a 9:15 am or 10:45 am.

FAQ

When do I arrive?

It's best to arrive around fifteen minutes early. This will give you enough time to acclimate yourself with the building, learn a bit about our church, and meet lots of friendly, new folks.

What should I wear?

Dress as you feel comfortable. Folks wear everything from jeans and dresses to polos and suits.

What if I have another question?
